The main intention of providing registration\nunder NSIC is to promote the products from the micro and small enterprises\n(MSMEs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Schemes_of_the_National_Small_Industries_Corporation\"><\/span>Schemes of the National Small Industries Corporation<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>The main objective of NSIC is to aid, promote, and encourage the\ndevelopment of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in India under various\nschemes such as:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Marketing Intelligence Services<\/li><li>Performance and Credit Rating Scheme<\/li><li>Raw Material Assistance<\/li><li>Consortia &amp; Tender Marketing Scheme<\/li><li>Single Point Registration Scheme<\/li><li>Credit Facilitation through Bank, etc.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Single Point Registration Scheme<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Government is\nthe largest purchaser of a variety of goods of small- scale sector. Therefore,\nthe general purpose of this scheme is to increase the share of purchase from\nthe small-scale industries under the Government Stores Purchase Programme,\nlaunched in the 1955- 56. These industries can participate in these purchase\nprogrammes by registering under the NSIC through the Single Point Registration\nScheme (SPRS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Credit Facilitation through Bank<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The NSIC has\nentered a Memorandum of Understanding with numerous Nationalized and Private\nSector Banks. Through these associations with banks, the NSIC facilitates MSMEs\nwith financial support. Moreover, the NSIC takes full responsibility for\nassisting the completion of &nbsp;documentation and submitting them to the\nbanks and even does the follow up from the banks. Furthermore, these services\nare provided free of cost to the small-scale industries.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Raw Material Assistance<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The\ngovernment provides financial support for the purchase of raw materials by\nsmall- scale industries under the Raw Material Assistance Scheme (RMA). The\npurpose behind this is to focus on and increase the quality of the products\nmanufactured by these industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Consortia &amp; Tender Marketing Scheme<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The major\nobjective of the corporation is to promote the products manufactured by the\nMicro and Small entrepreneurs. Furthermore, the products can be promoted either\nindividually or collectively through \u2018consortium\u2019. Accordingly, a scheme was\ndeveloped for this purpose, namely, the Consortia &amp; Tender Marketing Scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Marketing Intelligence Services<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The aim of\nthis scheme is to promote the business horizons of Indian MSMEs through\nMarketing Intelligence Web Portal. The Marketing Intelligence Cell collects and\nanalyses data to determine the potential customers, determine the current and\nfuture needs and preferences, behaviours and attitudes of the market. Also, the\nvision of the government through this scheme is to assess the changes in the\nmarket and find opportunities in the future market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are\nmany other schemes by NSIC like National Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe\nHub,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/corpbiz.io\/msme-registration\"><strong>MSME<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;databank, and conduction\nexhibitions for promoting the marginalized sections of the society and\nsmall-scale and associated sector in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Advantages_of_NSIC_Registration\"><\/span>Advantages of NSIC Registration<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>The Benefits of NSIC Registration under the Single Point Registration\nScheme are as follows;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Advantages in Tender Participation<\/li><li>Procurement from Micro and Small Enterprises<\/li><li>Company registered under NSIC are exempted from Earnest Money Deposit (EMD)<\/li><li>The tender set is granted free of cost<\/li><li>358 items are reserved to be purchased from the MSEs exclusively<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Documents_required_for_NSIC_Registration\"><\/span>Documents required for NSIC Registration<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>As per the Single Point Registration Scheme, all applicants should\nprovide the following documents in duplicate (duly self-attested)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Declaration of having made an entry in MSME Data Bank or copy of MSME Registration <\/li><li>A Self-attested copy of PAN, Udyog Adhaar Memorandum (UAM) Number {Entrepreneur\u2019s Memorandum (EM) Part-II (optional)}<\/li><li>Also, the Proof of ownership of Plant &amp; Machinery\/ Equipment &amp; Tools and Raw Material showing the date\/ year of purchase &amp; Original Purchase value of individual machinery (as per Annexure \u2018B\u2019).<\/li><li>The Performance Statement, according to the Performa Annexure-F of the application.<\/li><li>A Self-attested copy of documents of ownership of the premises or copy of the lease deed.<\/li><li>Certificate from the Proprietor\/ Partner\/ Directors even if they do not have any link with large scale Unit(s).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Following\ndocuments\/ statements must be furnished, duly signed by the authorized person<strong><em>;<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>A List of technical personnel employed in production and services.<\/li><li>Write-up on quality control measurement carried out by the firm for ensuring the quality of raw material brought out the item for assembly and sub-assembly and in-process and finished products quality control.<\/li><li>A List of testing facilities and quality control equipment available in the factory<\/li><li>The Copy of type test report from an Independent lab, where applicable as mentioned in the relevant standards. \u00a0<\/li><li>Copy of latest Electricity Bill.<\/li><li>Audited Balance Sheet, Profit &amp; Loss Account and Trading Account of the last 3 years duly signed by the authorized person by his seal.<\/li><li>A Statement or declaration showcasing the Results of Operation for the last 3 years signed by an authorized person under his seal (as per the Annexure \u2018C\u2019).<\/li><li>Bankers\u2019 Report showcasing the details of the financial status of the applicant firm as per Performa (Draft at Annexure \u2018E\u2019).<\/li><li> Copy of Permanent Account No. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-left\"><b>Read our article<\/b>:<mark style=\"background: #fffd03 !important;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/corpbiz.io\/learning\/difference-between-msme-and-nsic-registration-online\/\">What is The Difference Between MSME and NSIC Registration?<\/a><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Fees_distribution_for_obtaining_NSIC_Registration\"><\/span>Fees distribution for obtaining NSIC Registration<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The total\nfees for NSIC registration are based upon the turnover of the business as per\nthe latest audited financial statements. Furthermore, the charges for NSIC\nregistration can be divided into three parts namely;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Registration Fee<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The National\nSmall Industries Corporation charges the following fee for new registration\nbased on turnover and&nbsp;<strong>MSME classification<\/strong><sup><a href=\"https:\/\/msme.gov.in\/know-about-msme\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">[1]<\/a><\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Turnover\nless than Rs.1 Crore:&nbsp;Micro\nenterprises&nbsp;having a turnover of less than Rs.1 crore is charged with an\namount of Rs.3000, while small enterprises having a turnover of less than Rs.1\ncrore are charged an amount of Rs.5000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More than\nRs.1 Crore turnover:<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>Micro enterprises&nbsp;having a turnover\nof more&nbsp;than Rs.1 crore are charged an amount of Rs.3000 plus Rs.1500 for\neach crore of additional turnover. Also, small enterprises having a turnover of\nunder Rs.1 crore are charged a fee of Rs.5000 plus Rs.2000 for each additional\ncrore. The total cap on the registration fee is Rs.1 lakh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Inspection Charges<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally,\nto the registration fee, MSME enterprises need to pay for the inspection\nservices, as prescribed by the inspecting agency. The inspection charges are\nRs.2000 for micro-enterprises and Rs.3000 for the small enterprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Professional Fee<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Lastly, the\nMSME unit must pay a professional fee to RITES Limited and the\nConsultancy&nbsp;Development Centre for undertaking the physical\ninspection.&nbsp;A professional fee&nbsp;is set at Rs.6000 for\nmicro-enterprises and Rs. 8000 for small enterprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Who_can_obtain_NSIC_Registration\"><\/span>Who can obtain NSIC Registration?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Everybody who wishes to register his\/ her enterprise under the NSIC\nneeds to satisfy the following criteria:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Every Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) having Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum (UAM) or EM- Part II (Optional) can obtain NSIC registration under the Single Point Registration Scheme (SPRS).<\/li><li>All those Micro Enterprises where investment in plant &amp; machinery is up to Rupees 25 lakhs (and in the service sector till Rupees 10 Lakhs)<\/li><li>All those Small Enterprises where investment is plant &amp; machinery is up to Rupees 5 Crore (In-service sector up to rupees 2 crores)<\/li><li>Holding MSME Certificate.<\/li><li>Completed one year of business commencement.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Exemption:<\/strong> Under the Single Point Registration\nscheme, the Provisional Registration Certificate shall be issued to the Micro\n&amp; Small Enterprises, for those not completed one year of commencement of business.\nAlthough, this shall be subject to the monetary limit of INR 5 Lacs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_is_the_validity_of_NSIC_Registration\"><\/span>What is the validity of NSIC Registration?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The NSIC\nregistration issued under the Single Point Registration Scheme, 2003 to the\nMicro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) is valid for two years. Furthermore, there\nis a need to review and renew it every two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other\nhand, the provisional registration certificate provided to MSEs under SPRS with\na monetary limit of Rs. 5 lakhs is valid only for one year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"NSIC_Registration_procedure\"><\/span>NSIC Registration procedure<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>You may obtain the NSIC registration both online or offline.
