Moreover, in case of applicants have made an\napplication jointly, the principle place shall be deemed as the sole address of\nthe place for filling the trademark application. But in a case where neither an\napplicant nor any joint applicant has mentioned the principle place of business,\nthen in those cases the place will get considered, the one from the same\napplication have been filed \/ sent to the registry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An application of Trademark Registration shall be made\naddressing the Appropriate Office. The jurisdiction of trademark registration for\nfiling a trademark application is called the \u2018Appropriate Office\u2019, that is\nideally known to be Trademark Registry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Can we change the principle place of business or address for service?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The principle place of business <strong><em>cannot be changed in India<\/em><\/strong>\nor in the address for service in India:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Any of the registered proprietor or jointly\nregistered proprietors related to any trademark entered in the trademark register\non a notified date will be in effect permanently since then.<\/li><li>Any of the application or joint applications for\ntrademark registration is either pending or is made on the place of business\ncannot be changed after filing of an application.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Entry of an appropriate office in the Register<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When every trademark gets registered, then a Registrar must\nensure that an appropriate office has to be entered in the register.
