from the\nPollution department in order to establish a business unit with keeping in mind\nall the levels of Pollution aspects (Water\/AIR\/Noise) as per the Pollution Act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Consent to Operate (CTO)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It is the second level of permission required from the\npollution department in order to make sure the business unit avoids any level\nof pollution (Water\/Air\/Noise) while running the operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"DPCC_Categories_of_Business_Activities\"><\/span>DPCC Categories of Business Activities<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The industries in Delhi has been classified in Red, Orange, Green, and white category as per a list, indicating the classification of 649 industries according to new guidelines. The industries categorized under <strong><em>the Orange and Green category<\/em><\/strong> only need to apply for Consent to Operate (CTO) and Consent to Establish (CTE) under the Air &amp; Water Act. The industries categorized under the <strong><em>White category<\/em><\/strong> are not required to obtain consent to establish and operate. After the\ncompletion of a period, it is liable for renewal.
