But in actuality, Copyright is automatic and does not require any registration. (if work is already published).<\/li><li>A search Certificate from Trade Mark Office (TMO) is required (if the work is being used for goods).<\/li><li>There is a requirement of NOC (No Objection Certificate) from a person whose photograph is appearing on the work.<\/li><li>In case, you are applying with the attorney; you need a specific power of attorney signed by the applicant.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cinematograph\nfilm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>2 Copies of work that is to be registered.<\/li><li>DD\/IPO of the amount (as applicable).<\/li><li>NOC is needed from various copyright holders or a copy of the agreement (deed of assignment).<\/li><li>NOC is required from the publisher in case the applicant is different.<\/li><li>If  an attorney applies, there is a need for a specific Power of Attorney signed by the applicant and accepted wholly by the attorney.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Music<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>2 Copies of work including the Graphical Notes.<\/li><li>DD\/IPO of amount (as applicable).<\/li><li>NOC issued by the publisher if work published and publisher is different from the applicant.<\/li><li>If the applicant is not the author itself, a NOC from the author is required.<\/li><li>In case the application is filed through an attorney, a specific Power of Attorney in original duly signed by the applicant and accepted by the attorney is needed.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Literary\/Dramatic<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>2 Copies of work are done.<\/li><li>DD\/IPO of amount (as applicable).<\/li><li>If the applicant is not the publisher, then a NOC from the publisher is needed. &nbsp;<\/li><li>NOC from the author is needed if the applicant is other than the author.<\/li><li>If an attorney has applied, a specific signed Power of Attorney accepted by the attorney is needed to be submitted.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sound\nRecording<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>2 Copies of work &nbsp;<\/li><li>DD\/IPO of amount (as applicable).<\/li><li>NOC is required from various copyright holders or copy of the agreement (deed of assignment). &nbsp;<\/li><li>If the applicant is different from the publishers, then a NOC is required from the publisher.<\/li><li>If the application is being filed through an attorney, you need a Power of Attorney in original duly signed by the applicant and accepted by the attorney.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Software<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>2 Copies of work &nbsp;<\/li><li>DD\/IPO of amount (as applicable).<\/li><li>If the applicant is not the author, then a NOC (No Objection Certificate)from the author is to be submitted.<\/li><li>If the work is published and the applicant is different from the publisher, then a NOC from the publisher is required. &nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>If  the filing of application is through an attorney, then a specific Power of Attorney in original duly signed by the applicant and accepted by the attorney<\/li><li>Source code and object code of work is needed for the verification purpose.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Procedure_for_the_Copyright_Registration\"><\/span>Procedure for the Copyright Registration<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You need to\nregister on the government site&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/copyright.gov.in\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">http:\/\/copyright.gov.in\/<\/a>. After this, you will get a login ID\nand a password.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>File the Copyright Registration\napplication<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apply for the Copyright registration in India with the attached documents. The demand for the registration needs to be made to the CPIO (Central Public Information Officer). Thereafter, a fee of INR 10 by IPO (Indian Postal Order) or DD (Demand Draft) is payable to the \u201cPats and accounts officer).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>If there is more than one work, then the separate individual application is made.<\/li><li>For the copyright rules, a required fee is provided in the second schedule.<\/li><li>After this, you need to submit the registration form; a Diary Number will be generated for the future reference.<\/li><li>&nbsp;&nbsp;Zero Discrepancy<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If within the 30 days after the registration process, any objection arises, then you can expect the objection or discrepancy correction notice.
