The concerned officers have given them a fortnight for compliance, failing to which they will have to pay a penalty of \u20b91 Lakh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to sources, there are 600 bulk waste generators in the city out of which only 125 have complied with the regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Solid Waste Management Rules 2016 (SWM) states that Bulk\nwaste generators include buildings occupied by the central government, state\ngovernments departments and undertakings, local bodies and private facilities\nwith an average waste generation of more than 100 Kg\/day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The municipal corporation in Ghaziabad has issued notices to several bulk waste generators who were found violating environmental norms.
