As the emissions from vehicles are considered to be the primary reason for the increase in air pollution in Delhi, the government believes that a move which compels aggregators to switch to EV is the way forward as they account for almost 30% of the total vehicular traffic in the state. The second move planned by the government is to monitor the vehicle \u2019 s PUCs, they will direct the petrol pumps to not provide fuel to vehicles who do not have a valid PUC certificate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Delhi Electric Vehicles Policy plans to promote EVs\nshare in the market up to 25% out of the total vehicle sales by 2024. As of now\nthe government has not planned to give any deadlines for the aggregators to\ncomply with immediately.
